Francesca Catena is a masters student in the Faculty of Secondary Education at the University of Alberta. She has also received her bachelor's of Secondary Education from the University of Alberta, with a major in Social Studies and a minor in French. She is currently exploring feminist theories through her masters studies, with an interest in bringing such theories into the classroom.
