Do you want to take your drama class or theatre production to the next gory level? Scare your colleagues? Or do you really, really, really like Halloween? This class will introduce you to one teacher's approach to her option classes and engaging student's creative sides with special effects makeup! This session offers: - learning how to make realistic cuts, bruises, and burns (on yourself or bring a friend!) - creating small special effects props (including severed fingers and intestines!) - the supplies to use (and where to start) for the budget-conscious teacher - curricular links and approaches to options/CTF classes and competencies - possible ways to structure your options class and build on skills
