My name is Joseph (Joe) Dumont and I am currently the principal at Archbishop Jordan Catholic High School in Elk Island Catholic Schools.  I have been a principal, assistant principal, teacher and school counsellor in two different school districts in the Edmonton area.  I have also had the opportunity to spend time working in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta, with the Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium as a curriculum consultant, and most recently as a manager at Alberta Education in Workforce Planning and Development.  I am very passionate about leadership, learning and inspiring creativity and problem solving skills in students and staff.   I am a proud father of two daughters and married to the best teacher I know!  I love to play sports, write blog posts, make the occasional podcast and long walks on the beach with my family!!  Check out my website at www.connectedprincipal.com
