Ultimate (Frisbee) is one of the fastest growing co-ed sports in North America but a lot of times we do not really know how to properly throw that 'forehand', let alone demonstrate it to our class. The Edmonton Ultimate Players Association is offering a session, led by an NCCP certified Learning Facilitator, to help equip teachers with the skills and knowledge to teach Ultimate. Over the session, participants will get the opportunity to learn how to throw and review how to teach forehands, backhands and hammers. In addition to this skill building, we will also go over basic strategy, drills and games that can make teaching Ultimate in Phys Ed class seamless and fun. After the session, all teachers who attended will receive an email with lesson plans, online resources, and cool videos to show your students.
