North Central Teachers' Convention 2020

Designed for teachers who are involved in coaching/reffing in his/her elementary junior high or senior high school. This session will share coaching strategies and drills to prepare your team for the final part of your season. Whether you’re looking for new drills to add variety to your practices or a new way to teach an old skill; this session will provide you with plenty of ideas to use immediately at your next practice. Using Canada Basketball's Long Term Athlete Development model, you will learn the benefit of advantage drills such as 2v1, 3v2 and the random vs block practice model to create better decision making in your athletes. All participants are welcome to bring laptops, iPads, notebooks to record or take notes during the session.
