Canada's New Food Guide: Taking it to the Classroom with Alberta Health Services

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Have you seen the new Food Guide? Are you wondering how to use the new Food Guide to talk about healthy foods with students? Join Alberta Health Services Dietitians for an interactive session about the new Canada’s Food Guide. We’ll explore ready-to-use school nutrition resources and discuss up-to-date messages you can use to teach about healthy eating using the Food Guide. Participants will hear stories and ideas from schools across the province and have the opportunity to share their own ideas. This session is part of the Ever Active Schools Health and Wellness Symposium, presented with our provincial partners Alberta Health Services, the Be Fit for Life Network and the Health and Physical Education Council.
