For those who love Impressionism, it is a MUST. Using acrylics, you will learn how to paint landscape with expressive brushstrokes and heavy paint application. By learning the painterly tricks of Vincent Van Gogh, you will be able to share your knowledge with your students. They will love it! The level of difficulty can be adjusted according to the grade level taught. Excellent for teachers of grades 5-12. You will leave the workshop with completed painting, handouts and PowerPoint presentation to guide your students. All supplies provided by the instructor. Impressionism is the most popular art movement that both adults and children/youth enjoy. Since learning about art history is a part of the art curriculum, this workshop will provide teachers with theory and practical approach to this subject.
