Working with young student-athletes? This workshop highlights six concepts for building confident athletes and covers the ways to develop this key skill that helps young people turn potential into successful performance. Methods for identifying and understanding the fears and barriers that challenge confidence are also explored. Attendees will take away specific action items for their teaching and coaching practices that will help them model and guide student-athletes towards confidence, creating a positive space that encourages this development.
