Building Better Math Assessments

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

One of the most pressing issues in high school mathematics is designing assessments that accurately reflect the knowledge and skills required by the outcomes of the respective course, and how these assessments can be used to help students reach their full potential. Join me as I discuss how I have worked over the past 5 years to improve assessment in my classroom through personal experiences, work with colleagues and university professors, and others. I will be discussing topics such as: Producing assessment questions that test higher cognitive levels, Assessment design and exam blueprinting, Tools to produce and format assessments consistently, Improving teaching through exam analysis…And more!
