THIS IS A PRE-REGISTERED SESSION WHICH REQUIRES AN EVENTBRITE TICKET TO PARTICIPATE!  Eventbrite Password: North
Maximum Participants: 20

Come and construct a stomp rocket launcher (with paper rocket) and marshmallow blaster with PVC pipes to explore projectile motion, rocketry and the science of flight. Once constructed participants can then test and evaluate their designs which is all part of STEM education. These activities can be modified for use in the Grade 1, 3, 4 “Building” units in science, the Grade 6 Flight and Sky Science unit, Grade 7 Structures and Forces, Grade 8 Mechanical Systems, Grade 9 Space Exploration and the Physics 20 kinematics unit. 3, 2, 1 blast off! Each participant will walk away with a stomp rocket activity, launcher and marshmallow blaster made of PVC.
