Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

“How have people working together strengthened quality of life in Alberta?” This session is based on the complementary resource titled, Stories of People Working Together to Build Alberta. It highlights contributions of various groups both in the past and present who have contributed to Alberta’s history and culture. The session provides lessons and units cross-referenced to Social Studies 4 outcomes. Each lesson asks a unique inquiry question, provides interactive learning activities and suggests possible assessment strategies. While the primary focus is on grade 4 Social Studies, there are applications to Grade 5 and 6 curriculum outcomes.
