This workshop covers the history of the term two-spirit, examples of historical and modern day two spirit identities and how allyship is applicable to two spirit people. Many teachers will come across two spirit students and in order to better educate, it would be very important for teachers to carry knowledge about the term two spirit and how this important role for indigenous youth is beneficial for their classrooms. All ages friendly. Accessible language used.
