What exactly is engineering? What are we talking about when we use the word 'geoscience'? How can teachers prepare their students to succeed in these careers? This session will introduce you to the worlds of engineering and geoscience through hands-on activities and demonstrations, and show you what a career in these fields could look like. We will share tips & tricks for teaching these topics in your classroom, making curriculum connections to what your students are already learning, and helping to prepare your students with the skills necessary to excel in the fields.
