In this session we will look at how you can incorporate government open data and data from other sources into your social studies class. You will be introduced to Callysto, a free online platform that is capable of engaging data visualizations, big data processing, coding, and text formatting. We'll use curriculum-aligned resources, and help you create or edit modules of your own if you are interested.
David Hay has taught Grade 6 as well as high school science and technology courses, and was a consultant for Elk Island Public Schools in the areas of technology and innovation.
