Discover the Trigonometric Identities using the Unit Circle!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will show how to easily derive the foundational Trigonometric Identities using basic geometry of the Unit Circle. Creating a theme of visual understanding and the joy of playing with equations opens the door to more fun with Trig Identities. Many students struggle with the courage to explore and manipulate these equations - which is a skill needed to engage in the trig proofs. The geometry used on the unit circle will be the same visual used in Math 10C, allowing for the common visual to transcend the grades.
