Come prepared to play hands-on literacy games that are perfect for your differentiated literacy centers. Games integrate the use of easily found manipulatives including literacy dice, letter tiles, word decks and more. games and strategies will help you students practice the following concepts: learning the alphabet and its' sounds, rhyme and word families, vocabulary development, learning simple CVC words, blends and multi-syllable words. Participants will receive gameboards, see student samples, ideas for journals and assessment. The activities and strategies are great for regular, resource room, ESL and family literacy programs.
