Many language arts and English teachers see the need to move beyond using the traditional whole-class text to offering students some choice. With this comes the dilemma of fair assessment. Join us as we explore classroom-tested ways to choose and use texts and as we discuss how to build learning activities and assessments that are suitable for a variety of texts.
